Hi All,

I have Production system Project server 2007 without SP1. didnt do any
customization on homepage & also there is no webparts.

I restored the Production data on Sandbox (Test env) successfully & I can
connect to Project server . I can see all workspace are being restored on new
server. I cant access the Home page of pwa i.e http://servername/pwa
There is No error in ULS logs, No evenviewr errors etc. Tried to access the
pwa site by Service accounts etc..but no success :(

I had lot of discussion with MS- First level support to Last level support
but they dont have any answer about the homepage i.e default.aspx page access,

I can access all the pages under _layouts folder
http://servername/pwa/_layouts/pwa/Admin/Admin.aspx

I can't acess homepage, Project center & resource center,

Mr. Gary, Mr Mike any thoughts ?

Any help will be greatly appriciated,

Best Regards,
Amit

Did you follow this process previously posted by James

Hey,

I have a restore/backup problem.

HostA has project server installed with SQL2005.
HostB has project server installed with SQL2005.

HostA project databases in SQL2005 are backuped every night.
I want to restore the backup on HostB.

When i restore this 4 projectdatabases on HostB (archive, draft, publish and
report) and try to login on the webinterface on hostB ... i cannot login.

What do I have to do to make me Site administrator of that restored project
webspace?

1) On Host B, go to the SSP site and delete the existing Project Web
Access site.
2) Restore the databases.
3) On Host B, in the SSP web site again, create a new Project Web
Access site pointing at the restored dbs. This will ask what user
account should be made the administrator. During the provisioning,
that account will be added to the Administrators group.
