Backup

Hi,

I have a small Access database application, used only by our department of 8
people. It's stored on a network drive. I'd like to do a daily backup to a
different folder on the network.

Can I create some sort of "macro" or "batch file" that I can run each night
when our department closes that will copy the folder in which the database is
stored, and copy it to a specified backup folder?

Many thanks,

You can create a macro to export the tables to a new database, which I
believe you have to create the blank database yourself.

I have a shared database on the network and all I do is right click and
drag the database to a shortcut on my desktop (from the network). A drop
down comes down due to the right click I select copy here and it copies
over the previous days back up.
