Hi all...
OneNote 2010 on Win 7 PC.
I have tried to redirect backups to different locations...
I have successfully changed the Backup Folder path to a network drive,
a second drive in my PC, and a new location on the C:\ drive in three
separate tests.
In each case, NO files of any kind are ever saved in the locations
specified.
The reason that I am dealing with this, is that today, when opened
OneNote, my notes didn't come up... pretty scary. I found all of my
*.one files (which are normally saved in a networked cloud location...
"dropbox") and reloaded my notes without incident.
So I looked into the backup system, and have discovered that it does
not appear to work. At all. I have tried auto backups set to 1
minute. I have tried Back Up All Notebooks Now.
OneNote tells me that it is saving files... I see a progress bar...
all of the files that I would expect are displayed... it takes several
seconds to perform... so SOMETHING appears to be happening... but in
the end... No files.
Any help appreciated!!!
Thanks so much, in advance.
