BACKUPS

My FE, BE and original MDB files are on a server share that has access
permissions, in addition to the db permissions I have set and this is working
great.

There will be backups made on the network level every night. However, I
have been asked to make my own backups on a regular basis to a unit that is
very secure.

My thinking is pretty basic - simply open the share and copy the BE as I
normally would any other file - drag from the server to my connected drive,
then disconnect the drive.

Am I missing anything?

Just ensure that no one is using the file at the time that you copy it (check that there's no associated ldb file in the folder); also you should backup the FE.
