Backups?

Trying to backup One Note to a network drive as follows:
1. Tools/Options/Open and Save - specify the network location. Then;
2. Tools/Option/Backup/Backup Now
But no files are backed up? Nothing to be found in the directory?

Can I simply copy the entire "My Notebook" directory or will I be missing
something?

You can copy the complete My Notebook folder to the location on the network
that you want to backup the files.

If you want to use the backup now, you must modify the location of where the
files will be backup. Go to Tools, Options, Open and Save. Highlight the
Backup Folder and then click Modify, than go to the new location that you
want the files to be backup.

I moved all my My Notebook and Backup files to a location on my hard drive
that I backup when I do a backup. You can do the same with the files for
OneNote.

Once you have changed the location of the backup files, then perform a
Backup Now and you should see files.
