Backward printing

Hi, I'm having a heckova time printing a 5 page Word doc using MSWord 2004
with page one first. I'm trying to create a PDF from the Print menu and the
PDF output always comes out with page 5 first, all pages in reverse order.

Any suggestions???

BTW, when I printed the same doc, pages printed in order one to five, so I
had to manually rearrange so page one would be on top.

Take a look at WordMenu>Preferences>Print... is there a check in the box to
Reverse Print Order?

Okay! Thanks...now I know. Yup, Reverse printing was checked. Unchecked it
and the PDF printed just fine. Art

What about when it isn't that simple? My "reverse printing" box is
unchecked in print preferences, and yet it continues to print last page
first. I don't happen to mind it doing that, so I've left it, but it
does seem strange to me. It prints last page first whether or not the
box is checked.
Any suggestions?

Yep. It is still simple. There are *two* places to set the print order
for a Word doc.

The other place is the Mac print dialog, which applies to all
applications that use the standard print dialog. Click on the Copies
and Pages thingy. Select paper handling. Choose Page order to taste.

Neither Apple nor Microsoft appear to acknowledge the other's existence.
