Backwards Compatibility Question

My daughter has a new Win7 machine and an Office 2003 package that she wants
to load. Her question to me was if she had to uninstall any versions of
Office that are already on the machine -- it came with a trial ov Office
'10 -- and I told her, yes she must uninstall first.

Then I considered the idea that Win7 might not support Office '03. She would
be in a world of hurt if she uninstalled '10 and then found out that '03
doesn't work on her machine.

Will Office Professional '03 run under Windows 7?

Yes it does. Had same situation when I bought my laptop. I did have a
problem with the validation code for some reason and had to make a call to
MS in order to get it working. Don't know why, it was a legit version.
