Bad link in automated email

I am having a problem with the url's in the automated
emails.
If you take a look at the first link in the automated
email below, there is a period at the end of the url
because it is the end of a sentence. On some workstations
it uses the "." in the url address so it errors when
clicking on it. And on some other workstations, the "." is
not included in the link, so it goes to the right page.
Below is a copy of what it looks like:
Why on some workstations would it include the period and
others it won't. I verified the email client on a working
and non-working machine and they are the same version.
