Bad Office 2003 installation with UAC on

V

V22

I installed Office 2003 Basic on my PC with Vista 64 OS. The installation is
fine if I have the UAC turned off. If it is turned on (which I prefer it to
be), it keeps trying to install Office 2003 files (especially in Outlook).
Office updates are current (SP3). I have tried installing and uninstalling
with the UAC both turned on and turned off. Always the same. Everything works
perfect with the UAC (user account control) turned off. Outlook is unusable
with the UAC turned on.
I am the only one that uses the computer, so I am the administrator.
how do I fix

No mam, it only works when I am not the administrator. I am the only one
using the computer and I have no pass word, so I am the administrator. it
only works when I turn off the UAC. When I install it, I right click on setup
and click on open sa administrator.

I'm sure there is a fix (since it works as expected for others) - but I
don't know what it is offhand. You can set the shortcut to always run as
admin.
