Help!
I am using a reference to the Outlook 10 library for an
Access 2000 MDE.
My users have a variety of systems from NT 4.0 workstation
to Win2K and XP. Office versions are either 2000 or XP
and some systems were fresh installs and some were
upgrades.
The issue I have is that there is a reference
to "c:\program files\microsoft office 2000\office10
\msoutl.olb" that I need to use.
Depending on your OS, office verison and how it was
installed, the directory may be different.
I need to find a way to provide a consistent path for this
application.
I could copy the olb to the application directory on the
network and register the UNC with regserver but I am
afraid of 2 things:
1. Will this hose outlook for people or will it not matter?
2. Will this slow the app dramatically because this
library is over the network and not local?
Thanks in advance for your support.
