Banner Ad Manager

My Banner Ad Manager worked for years and it still works
in the "Preview Browser" but when I upload, the banner ad
manager space for the image is gray, (not working, alto it
worked in the Preview Browser). I deleted the banner ad
manager and all the images and started over. It still will
not work and all I get is a gray area where the image
should be; however it works great in the "Preview in
Browser".

NOTE: I have another Banner Ad Manager on the Net and it
continues to work fine.

Any Suggestions....

Thanks
Stan

I appreciate the info but I have another BANNER AD MANAGER
on another page, (same site), and it works great. I am
confused as to why one would work and the other won't?

Check the path to the class files.

I have these images on my site in a sub-directory under
images for this specific Banner Add Manager, (like the
other BANNER AD MANAGER on another page which continues
working great as it has for years).
When I add an image to the Banner Add Manager I let the
system locate said image which provides the correct path
to the image. I also verified this path.

Both worked for years untouched and then one of them
stopped, yet the other one continues to work properly.

It works perfect in the "PREVIEW BROWSER" but when
uploaded it acts as tho it can't find the images. The
images are there, the path is there. I guess there is
something I am missing which is why I deleted everything,
including the images and starting from scratch re-did it
twice. Still the orginal problem continues to exist !!!!!!

I do not understand why it is doing this?

Thanks
Stan

Check to be sure the file and folder names are the same exact CaSe when you
compare the links in HTML view of the page.

The file folder and case of the folder and files are the
same. The HTML code is the same case etc. When adding an
image I let the system browse to "said" image then select
it so the path/case etc will be the same.

I repeat myself but when I click file/preview in browser
IT WORKS GREAT. When I upload to the web site it
goes "gray".

It probably is of no value but the site is:

http://home.att.net/~s.e.white.jr
-click on the animated dancers
-scroll down the page to the next to last row of images
on the page
-you will see the gray area with the name of "Rachel" on
the side next to the image.

I am still confused as to why it will not work on my web
site, yet it works perfect on my system when I
use "PREVIEW IN BROWSER" ????

Thanks
Stan

At least one of the images referenced in the JAVA applet does not exist on
your server:
images/Fun/B_Rachel/B03_Rachel_Face_Close_Up.JPG , as referenced in the
applet, does not exist. However,
images/Fun/B_Rachel/B03_Rachel_Face_Close_Up.jpg is present.
Check that the CaSe of the images match the case of links in the applet.
Remember, UNIX servers are CaSe sensitive, Windows isn't.
