First time creating a chart in Access.
Based on user's request I'm trying to create an overview of sums from table
"Values" grouped/summed by the field "Position"
I have simple two-column query as a row source (Position, SumOfVal) and
using chart with horizontal bars (one bar for each position).
Works fine, but experiencing two issues:
1) allthough query comes with assorted records (descending by SumOfVal)
chart ignores the order of records and displays them in a random(?) sequence.
2) when having more position, some of the labels on the y-axis are
supressed, which is not acceptable, because labels contain the names of
positions... I think the solution would be to resize font of labels or evt.
resize the chart area/object so that even by large number of positions the
chart still remains transparent - scrolling doesn't mind...
Any help/recommendation appreciated. Thanks in advance.
