Bar Code - how to display msg if barcode not in datatable

Hi Friends,
I have created Bar Code data table. Fields are: ID, BARCODE, and DISCRIPTION
ID (AutoNumber), BARCODE(Text), DISCRIPTION(OLE Object)

Description (Field type OLE Object) field is a picture bmp. When we scan the
bar code using barcode reader relevant Description picture come up.
1. I need to modify this screen with full screen.
2. How to hide menu bar top one.
3. How to lock the data table.(Only myself could edit).
4. Specially,…. When scan a barcode if it is not in my data table . how can
I display message this “This Bar code is not included yet….or something.â€
I have 150 records on my data table.
