Bar style corruption.

I have a file that was created in MSP 2003 and it has bar syles that were
customized. The schedule was put into server '07 using MSP '07 PRO. and the
bar style for that view appears corrupt. the names in the 'format bar style'
are:
'Task'
'Progress'
'Baseline'
'BaseliTask'
'Progress'
'Baseline'
'BaseliTask'
and this just repeats itself over and over. What can we do?

Eric:

I'm not certain that this explains what you're seeing, but I'll take a stab:
The Gantt bars changed to 3D in 2007, so you may not be able to render the
same custom bar styles created in 2003 with the 3D settings turned on. Try
going to Tools > Options > View Tab and deselect this option in the "Show"
section of the page. If that solves the problem, you'll need to decide
whether you want to update the custom work to 3D or have your users turn
this option off.

Thanks for your help Gary! But that didn't seem to fix it this time :( any
other ideas?

Eric:

I can only assume that the changes that were made in 2007 make your previous
customizations incompatible. I don't have access to information that would
allow me to say for certain, so you might want to open a case with Microsoft
to get a difinitive answer. It seems to me that recreating them using 2007
would be a faster process.

yeah, looks like we have to fat finger them in. Thanks for trying, well
reenter the data in the field and then send it out to out users in a new view
so they can replace the corrupt one.
