Bar styles based on Task Enterprise Date fileds do not work

If I customize an enterprise task field of the type Date, then I cannot use
this field to define a Bar Style in an enterprise view. Apparently, this
customized date field value is not picked up by the client becasue I cannot
show it on existing styles as a detail (left,right,top,bottom,inside), nor
can I draw a placeholder on such a date.

Is this a Known issue?

I use the 2003 SP2 version of Project Professional with a 2003 server SP2a

Hello Bart,

As you have not yet received an answer in this newsgroup and your
question concerns Project Server, I suggest you re-post your
question to the project server newsgroup
(microsoft.public.project.server) if you haven't already posted there.

Although most of the folks who answer questions in the newsgroups visit
all the groups, I think there's a higher concentration of "server gurus"
there and you may get a quicker answer.
