Barcodes and Access

Hi,

I've got quite large collection of CD's and DVD's. I want to store the
titles etc in an Access 2002 database and avoid entering all of them
manually.. for example, there's a barcode on each DVD, is it possible to get
information like the title of the DVD, the artists, director, genre, etc.
with the help of this barcode? That would avoid a lot of boring work!

I doubt it and there are far better solutions than Access for storing that
information. CDDB will get that info by playing the CD.

Thanks, I've done some research and found some free components on this
website:

I've downloaded uFreeDB 1.6.2. The ActiveX component uFREEDB.ocx can be used
in Access, I reckon.

I've also tried the demo uFREEDBtest.exe and yes, it works! However, it only
works for CD's.. is there also a database for DVD's?
