1. In MS Project Professional 2003 go to tools > Enterprise Option. Select
'Open Enterprise Global'
2. Then click Tools > Organizer
3. Go to Calendar tab
4. Select your local & global template in either sides of the Calendar window.
5. Select your calendars from local template & click COPY button in the
middle.
6. Close Organizer window.
7. Close Enterprise Global
8. Close all MS Project Professional windows
9. Open MS Project Professional & you'll see those calendars in enterprise
global template.
If you are working offline you'll see Global.mpt which is your local template.
When you are working with the server, the copy of Enterprise Global Template
is cached with your local global template. That will appear as Global (+
cached Enterprise) in that list.
To copy your local calendars, make sure you are connected to the server &
then follow those steps.
I assume that you've permissions to change Enterprise Global Template in
your environment. If not then talk to your Project Administrator.
What I did was open up a 'blank' project offline, copied from Global to
Project 1 and saved it as Project1
Then I opened up Project1 and connected to Server, I then followed your
steps to copy from Project1 to Checked Out Global Template.
Thanks for your help.
