Base URL for Bookmarks ???

Greetings friends.
When I insert a bookmark into a Word 2007 document it uses the entire path
for the file name (C:/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx.doc#XXX)
I then create a hyperlink inside the same document to reference this
bookmark and when I hover over this hyperlink it shows the entire path.
Is it not possible to remove this path and have the hyperlink work within
this document only ?

The hyperlink base is empty.
