Baseline data not saved

I'm using Project 2000 (9.0.2000.0224), and have one project that does not
save the baseline data either through Tools->Tracking->Save Baseline... or by
File->Save As... At first, nothing happens - it appears to have worked,
except the Baseline fields remain NA, and the Tracking Gantt has no baseline
bars. After a second or third attempt to save the baseline, Project crashes.
Another user had similar results iwth this file, and this is the only file I
tried that has this failure mode. I know this isn't much information to go
on, but any advice is appreciated.

Hi JulieS,

I think you're right that it's file corruption (just this file, across
multiple users), but the suggestions didn't fix it. The file size was 549k
before changing it to a .mpd, 1,148k as a .mpd, and decreased to 453k after
becoming a .mpp again. But it still doesn't save any baseline data.

You're welcome and thanks for the feedback. Sorry the fix didn't work :-(
I'm afraid I don't have any other suggestions for you but perhaps some other
reader has a trick or two up his or her sleeve.
