Baseline set but not visible in gantt

I am currently using Project 2002 on a Windows 2000
system. I am trying to view a baseline in my gantt chart
view but unable to. I have the baseline set and have even
tried removing the base line and setting it again and it
still will not show up. Do I have to have a baseline
setting to make the baseline appear in the Gantt view? Can
anyone think of why this would not show up?
TIA

Click View - Tracking Gantt to see the baseline graphically on the Gantt
Chart. Click View - Table - More Tables, select the Baseline table and
click Apply to see the five task baseline fields. Hope this helps.

That does not seem to help, anything else that may keep
the baseline from showing?

I went back through the Gantt chart wizard and selected
baseline in the wizard and now it is showing up. thank you
for your assistance.

Here is how to trouble shoot.

In the gantt view go to insert menu / select column / choose "Baseline
Start"
If the column is empty or has NA all over it, you don't really have a
baseline set. Set a baseline (not an interim baseline) and start over.

If there are values there then go to format menu / select barstyles / scroll
down the list to the first open space.
Type a name, set the appearance you want using the controls on the bottom
half of the form, set "Show for ... Tasks" to be "Critical", set it to be
"From" baseline start "TO" baseline finish.

Your baseline should now show up. If it doesn't you have a real problem.
