Question:
I want to know how Portfolio Analyzer calculates the Baseline Work for
workplans on Server? Does it sum up all the Tasks?
My problem is I have a workplan that has 660 baseline work.
When I run Portfolio Analyzer (after converting the hours to days,
I've added my own calculated field) it only comes to 310 days.
It is not registering the 350 day Contingency task (yes I know big
contingency) that's there. The Outline Code for that task it is
tagged as a Task and I have even assigned a Resource to that task.
I have Re-baselined the workplan to 660 days and re-instered the Work
and Actuals and done a Publish All Information. The Work, due to
Actuals being entered has since increased to 700 days.
Short of dropping the workplan and starting over is there something
that I'm missing?
I running a report on the Baseline Work of each plan per month and as
the Baseline Work in this plan is out it is skewing the numbers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Richard
