baselines and interim

what is the best way for tracking a project? I have been
saving project outlines as baseline but what's best to do
after that? When updates are made as project progress
should entries just be saved or should they be saved as an
additional baseline or an interim? Thanks

Enter your progress in Actuals fields in the tracking table. You'll see the
scheduled will update to match. Your baseline preserves the original plan
and many reports and tables compare the current schedule to the saved
baseline to give you variance indications.
