baselining a plan

Hi,

We have a plan that we thought we baselined yet it appears at baseline 1.
We'd like it to be baseline 0 but are afraid to overwrite.

Can someone tell us how to get baseline 1 to baseline without wiping out info.

This is easy. Ask the PM to do the following:

1. Open the project and then click Tools - Tracking - Set Baseline.
2. In the Set Baseline dialog, select the "Set interim plan" option.
3. Click the Copy pick list and choose the Baseline1 item on the list.
4. Click the Into pick list and choose the Baseline item on the list.
5. Click the OK button.

The above set of steps will copy the Baseline information from the Baseline1
set of fields into the Baseline Set of fields. This will not overwrite
anything since you already stated that the Baseline information was saved in
Baseline1 and not Baseline. Hope this helps.
