Basic Authentication & Infopath (without SharePoint)

Hi,

I would like to use an SSL based WebService as a Data Connector for my form.
Credentials need to be passed to this WebService using Basic Authentication.
However I cannot find a way to pass across my basic auth credentials (I'd
accept hard-coding at this point!) in the SOAP packet.

Note that I am using IP as a Windows based form only (i.e. not a browser
form), and I am not using SharePoint (it's not an option), so UDC appears to
be out.

Does anyone know a way to do this?
