I want to make lettering to down the side, with numbers at the top.
If you mean that you want to have row headers use letters and column
headers use numbers, the best solution's going to be to turn you monitor
on its side...
If you just want letters down the side, there are various ways of doing
so - how far down do you wan them, and do you want them to repeat (e.g.,
A,B,C...Y,Z,A,B...) or do something like column headers (e.g.,
A,B,C...Y,Z,AA,AB,AC...AZ,BA,BB...)
I also want to make the boxes square (equal length and width for each box so
the rows have the same space as the columns)
Choose Format/Column/Width. Enter a measurement.
Choose Format/Column/Height. Enter the same measurement.
Note that printer settings, as well as default font size, may preclude
exactly square cells. Play around as desired.
