basic macro help

The hard thing isn't AppleScript itself but the different commands each application expects. "Learning" it will change the way you use your Mac! > The macro was that I used Apple-Key + E to insert a footnote into a document > at size 10 font. That's it. Very basic - but I don't know how to create it You don't need a script for that: Just set a shortcut for InsertFootnote through Tools | Customize Keyboard. Changing the Footnote style in Normal.dot to 10pt is easy as well and probably a better idea than setting it every time. -- Tobias Weber
