Basic Tutorials for Building FP2003 XML Data Driven Web Sites

I need a simple "How To" on Building XML Data-Driven Web Sites with FP2003.
The August 2003 article at

is way over my head. They keep stating how easy it is but I just don't get
it. I am especially having trouble incorporating query strings into my web
page.

Is there anything out there that shows you in a simple step by step method
how to build FP2003 sites? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
