Batch Conversion

Hi there, running Office 2k and I use the batch conversion wizard regularly
to convert files from word form to plain text. Although this works, many of
the files are in subfolders and I have to run the wizard for each folder.
Is there any add-ons or external software that anyone knows of which will
batch convert recursive folders?

Hi Ric,

There are 3rd party conversion products that
will support that. For the Word batch conversion
wizard you may need to create a macro or modify the
macro in the Wizard to support that. The folks in
the Word VBA newsgroup may be able to help with that

Thanks for the advice - I have posted there and will hopefully get some
response. I looked into using 3rd party software but they all charge money
and since I'm not three bad at coding I'm sure I can knock up a macro with a
little help!
