BC Phone Records Not Linked To Emails

Some of my Business Contact records aren't reflecting email messages I
thought were linked to the records. I'm not sure if this is relevant but
when I compared the properties of two phone business contact records, the
one that does seem to be functioning properly has a "Sent" and "Received"
date in its record but the one not linked has no dates. I'm not sure what
these dates signify but if this represents something that should be getting
updated somewhere. I have a problem. I'm using MS Office Outlook 2003 with
BCM Update SP3. Would appreciate any help you can offer.

I'm confused. Is it phone logs or emails, or both, that don't show up
as linked?

Sorry for the econfussion. The issue concerns a Business Contact record
(phone) of a company with two email addresses. I recently had an exchange
with one of those addresses and noticed that they didn't show up on the
phone record so I manually linked the sender to the phone record by opening
the email, selecting "Link to Record" at the top, and closing the email. It
subsequently appeared in the phone record but another one received a few
days earlier did not appear automatically. I linked that one the same way.

I've had like occassion to establish links for several years since retiring
but I continue to use the program, looking for practical applications to
private life. Any help you can offer would be apprecaited, Luther.
