BCC Copies to myself

I try and remember to include my own Email address in the bcc field of all
Emails I send out - so that I have copies on both my home desktop and
laptop. But I sometimes forget.

Is there any way of setting up the programme to always include my address in
the bcc field so that I cannot fall victim to my own forgetfulness.

That sounds like a flawed plan. If both computers are configured to NOT leave a
copy on the server, then first one online gets all messages. If one is
configured to leave a copy on the server, it even gets messier. If both are
configured to leave a copy on the server, you'll have a real mess on your hands.

Through the Google search, I did find one freeware plug-in called
HiddenBCC. The freeware version will popup a nag window when you
start Outlook but they say it is otherwise fully functional. I don't
use nagware but maybe you are willing to suffer it.

This will only work for new mail messages, not replies or forwarded
messages, you will still need to add your address to the BCC: Line.
1. Open a new message in Outlook.
2. Place your email address in the BCC: Line.
3. On the Toolbar in Outlook> Select File> Save File as an Outlook template
in your My Documents folder, instead of the Outlook template folder, with a
name like "NewMail".
4. Open My Documents> Right click the "NewMail.oft" file and create a
shortcut to the Desktop.
5. Click on the shortcut, and make sure the new blank message appears.
