I'm currently using Outlook 2003 (part of an Office package) at work. For a
majority of the emails I send, I can no longer view the BCC field in my Sent
Items. If it's to a small list of recipients, it usually shows (although not
always), but when I send mass emails (which is my job -- I send bulk email
communications for my firm), the names no longer show up in the bcc field in
the Sent Item.
Oddly, if I do a "find" search in my Sent Items folder, I can see that a
message went to someone, but when I open the message, it doesn't actually
show their display name in the BCC field. This is especially problematic for
the "I didn't get that message" complaints.
I can't believe this is an "upgrade" from the previous version, but I've
never had a problem with this in any other version we used before. Please
don't answer "upgrade", as that's not an option when you work at a large firm
and don't have control over which software you use.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
