BCC issue when using a delegate account

How do we encourage Microsoft to resolve long outstanding issues that seem
at least on the surface very easy to resolve. For example, it has been over
a year since Microsoft discovered that users can't use the BCC when sending
from a delegated account. See:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952382

This problem persists in Entourage 2008 as well as Entourage 2004.

I have email threads at my site that are dated from Feb 2007 when we first
discovered this issue.

On the surface, it seems Microsoft has the arduous task of changing the
Entourage code to use a SMTP command that is not OBSOLETE. How difficult
would that be? How many incremental updates have been released where this
issue could have been fixed?

I liked being part of the beta program in that I could report more directly
to the people who might effect changes.

If Microsoft was busy adding numerous missing Exchange features to Entourage
(server side categories, voting, server side distribution groups, etc..),
then maybe I could live with the frustration of these small items being put
off. The problem is that I have no assurance that Microsoft will EVERY add
these features. I wonder if this minor bug will be resolved before Office
2012.

Have you tried the new public beta for Entourage 2008?

Other than sending in feedback there isn't much you can do. If you would
like to be considered for beta testing, send me your qualifications off
list.

In addition to this the EWS beta *does* add a few new syncing features
such as Tasks, Notes and Categories. That's because EWS is a different
protocol than WebDAV, which Entourage 12.1.5 and Outlook Web Access
(OWA) use.

A good rule of thumb about what Entourage 12.1.5 (not EWS) can do is to
look at what you can do in the light version of OWA. If you can do it
there then the framework probably exists for Entourage 12.1.5 to do it
too. Categories aren't there, voting is not there, etc.

Why not Tasks and Notes? I dunno.
