bcc

I have a user running Outlook XP SP3 on XP Sp2. We are using Exchnage 2000
SP4 on the backend. The Exchange server is set to allow 64000 recipients per
message. When he attempts to send a bcc message out to a large number of
clients (approximately 100 or more) he gets an "operation failed" message,
no other errors logged. I have tried using HTML, RTF, using and not using MS
Word as the editor, to no avail.

Any suggestions?

As an Outlook Express user I'd put all the recipients in a "Group" and
simply bcc the group name... I don't know if Outlook would do the same or if
it would make any difference to the server but has he / she tried that?

Perhaps it's a timeout of some kind in the connection with so many names,
which presumably the server sends out one at a time.

Seems to me there should be a server time out setting in the account details
somewhere... how about doubling it?
