Hi all, I'm just learning about BCM and ready to implement BCM 2003 for our
dept. Without going through a bunch of trial & error methods I was hoping
for some suggestions for implementing this. There will be 10-15 users and
all should be able to view/add/edit accounts/contacts as well as the other
functions like notes, tasks, etc.
My initial plan was to use BCM for with our generic dept e-mail account,
locate the db on it's own machine and then share that database with all the
staff. The users would always add and edit Accounts/Contacts for this e-mail
as apposed to keeping their own databases and everyone sharing 10-15 db's.
Would this work and are there better methods until we are able to upgrade to
2007?
I noticed a white paper for BCM 2007 that allows for sharing of a single SQL
db on a server but were not there yet.
