Outlook 2007/ BCM 2007 - Any ideas on solving the following error:
The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint
"FK_ActivitiesTable_ActivityTypesTable". The conflict occured in database
"XXXX", table "dbo.ActivityTypesTable", column 'ActivityTypeID'.
This error occurs in a dialog box when attempting to link outlook email,
task, to-do (MAPI, PST or Archive) to BCM 2007 account. Also receive the
error when attempting to save new history item for BCM account, contact or
opportunity. The error always occurs and has never worked. I've attempted
uninstall and re-install of BCM as well as creation of a new database with no
change.
When looking at the XXXX database, the ActivitiesTable is empty. The
ActivityTypesTable has 23 rows that seem to have reasonable entries.
If no ideas on the error, is there documentation on how the ActivitiesTable
is used during the above scenarios or any idea what side effects would occur
by dropping the constraint.
