Last night, I upgraded the following:
* Microsoft Expression Blend V2 SP1
* .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
* VS2008 SP1
* Silverlight Tools fo VS2008 SP1
This morning, when I started Outlook 2007 (with BCM), the Windows Installer
poped up. The title bar reads "Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007
SP1" and the message reads " Please wait while Windows configures Business
Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 SP1". That dialog is followed by another
saying: "Insert the "Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 SP1" disk and
click OK". The "Use source" box just hsa a "1" in it. If I click the Browse
button, I see that it's looking for MSSMLBIZ.msi.
I don't have that disk. I installed SP1 from the download
(BCM2007SP1-KB941652-FullFile-ENU.exe). I extracted the contents of that
download, but it does not contain the MSI.
If I cancel out of the dialog, I get: "Error 1706.No valid source could be
found for product Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 SP1. The Windows
installer cannot continue." When I click OK, Outlook starts and everything
seems normal, including BCM. If I click on BCM Home, I get the same error,
but then it loads fine. I can see my Accounts, Business Contacts, etc. So
far, it doesn't appear that the error effects any functionality, but I'd
still like to get rid of it.
