BCM 2007 hook into Quickbooks or other non-MS accounting app?

Andrea

Here's a quick question: can Business Contact Manager 2007 access accounting
information from non-MS accounting applications, such as Quickbooks, etc? Or
will Business Contact Manager 2007 ONLY access Office Accounting 2007?

Thanks a bunch!

Yes--I just did it in QB Pro 2007.
Go to Help menu--type in outlook and follow instructions to sync with
Outlook. Required download from QB website for sync management.
Works great!

Hi Andrea, Chrisnews, and Karen.

If and when any accounting application would like to provide integration to
Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007, they are more than welcome to do
so – and even encouraged to do so. Integration takes place from the
accounting application, not from BCM, so the accounting application vendor
just needs to do the work in their application to enable this integration.

Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 cannot tell the difference which
accounting application is integrated into it. It just “senses†integration
and reacts to it. This allows any accounting application vendor in any
country to integrate with Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007.

Hope that helps

Adam

Can you all please clarify a few things for me?
First, I used to use QB6 and Out2003 and it didn't integrate. So when I
heard OL2007 BCM and MOA Pro 2007 integrates, I BOUGHT IT THE DAY IT WAS
RELEASED. MOA 2007 is horrible though.

So you are telling me that if I go out and buy QB 2007 it will intergrate
and I will be able to see the finanical info in BCM from QB2007 just like MOA
pro?????

I will make the switch this week if this is true...
PLEASE HELP!!!
thanks
