Office 2007 (disk 1) installs fine. However, BCM 2007 (disk 2) brings up a
message saying the SQL Server 2005 SP3 is required to run BCM on this version
of windows. I press 'Run program' to continue. the message appears again
and I press 'Run program' again. Then an error message saying that SQL
Server 2005 Express (MSSMLBIZ) failed to install and refer to a log file for
more detail. the log file tells me nothing i didn't already know, ie, it
failed to install.
I'm aware that you have to download SQL Server 2005 SP3 BEFORE running BCM.
But if it fails to install, i can't apply the patch.
How do I proceed?
This is annoying becuase the Microsoft Compatability Centre informs me that
BCM 2007 is fully compatible with Win 7 64-bit.
