BCM accounts folder appears empty

I have created hundreds of accounts in BCM and I can see them on my
Blackberry that's sync'd to my PC as well as when I use a thrif party product
(IMI) to download information. However, the accounts folder appears empty
from BCM. How can I get it to show its contents again?

Are the accounts visible if you change the view setting in the accounts pane
?

I can see "accounts" on the LHS but the folder is empty (and the contacts and
business contacts folders are not empty.)

Can you right click on Business contact manager and go to properties windows
and click on the tab that reads folder size , van you check if it show a
size next to accounts ?

Also when your in the accounts highlighted can you click on view > current
view > arrange by category and see if you can view any items
