BCM and Exchange

Hi,

We are a small business (under 15 people) who use Exchange Server 2003 on a
Win2003 server platform. I wanted to use BCM but find I can't unless we user
SBS2003. For historical reasons we do not use BCM and do not want to switch
over. It would seem that BCM will not work in our configuration and CRM is
recommended instead. However we do not want to set up another server for
this, net alone the expence of a system aimed at a large organization!
Surely there are thousands of small scale Exchange Server users who may want
to benefit from BCM but can't. Is there any way round this or are we all
cought in the middle. Surely Microsoft don't want us to go off and use ACT.

As described at http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/bcm.htm, it is possible to
install the patch and then hack the registry to make BCM work with a profile
that contains Exchange even if it isn't SBS 2003.
