BCM backend

We're looking for a replacement for our ACT system and we just installed BCM
2. It looks good so far but the biggest question we have is about data
structure/access. Is the data stored in Exchange? Is there anyway to query
that data for reports? We need the ability to deliver sales pipeline
reports. That is our main goal. Also is there anyway to integrate with
Solomon?

Thanks,
Doug

I come from Act! from way back too, and I find it tough to reconcile that
bcm2 has no fields to customize. That's still somewhat of a boneheaded
"feature", but bcm seems so much more organized and performance-tuned than
that behemoth Act!. From previous posts here, I read that bcm2 is stored is
MSDE sql tables, Data can be accessed through most any 3rd party, and
Luther here advised accessing the views, not the tables using crystal for
example. I know Act! does not let you crystal it- that's another strike
against it, although companionlink.com makes a product to access reports on
act's data. reportability.

I dont know about the Solomom integration.
