BCM - Can I use it to create client-specific appointment cards?

I would like to print appointment cards to be mailed to my clients (think
doctor's appointments, etc.). However, using just the mail merge function, I
cannot seem to see where I can add a particular contact's upcoming
appointment date/time.

Can BCM help with this, or is there any other function where I can do this
without having to resort to something 3rd party like Crystal Reports?
