BCM "cannot complete your last action or actions..."

I get this when I start BCM from BCM Home in Outlook 2007: "cannot complete
your last action or actions..." Contacts, projects, etc. work, but I don't
have an email inbox. I also get the error message when clicking on BCM in the
"All Mail Items" folder list, so I suspect it is related to email? Ideas
welcome.
