BCM error message: "The set of folders cannot be opened. Store not

Hi,

When I try to open BCM on my Oulook 2007, I get the following error message:
The set of folders cannot be opened. Store not configured".
I suspect it started after the latest update from Microsoft which I
downloaded (following the recommended instructions).
When I start outlook I get the following message: "Business Contacts Manager
for Outlook could not connect to the shared database. Do you want to work
offline?".

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.
Talp.

Here's how I fixed this problem. Before this happened to me I was receiving
the following message when I started Outlook: "BCM cannot connect to shared
database. Do you want to work offline?" I clicked no, and that's when I
received "The set of folders cannot be opened. Store not configured."

I restarted my computer and reopened Outlook, and this time, when it asked
me if I wanted to work offline, I said yes. Then I think I had to click on my
"Business Projects in Business Contact Manager folder again, at which point
it walked me through setting up reconfiguring the database. That's when I
found out that it was looking for the BCM database on my computer, but it had
the wrong name for my computer. I corrected the name of my computer, and all
was well.

Sorry if that's confusing, I was kind if winging it and I don't remember
exactly what happened. From some other research I've done on this problem I
also understand you can find out if your BCM is trying to connect to an
invalid computer name by going to File, Data File Management, Data Files,
BCM. Hope that helps!!
