BCM for Outlook 2007 not connecting with database on server

We are just starting to use BCM with Microsoft SBS 2003 with the database
being held on the server.
I have installed BCM for Outlook 2007 onto a particular PC and it worked fine
after the install. Today the owner of the PC has decided to do some
management within BCM and when we expand Business Contact Manager in the
Outlook navigation bar, the only thing available is Deleted Items.
I have closed Outlook and reopened and I get an error message stating "the
(file path).pst file is not a personal folders file." When I look, the file
is there on the server where it should be.
I have rebooted many times. Sometimes Outlook opens without this message but
in the system tray a message appears stating that the 'Business Contact
Manager is not connected - you are working offline.'
Nobody else here is having problems accessing BCM.
What am I missing?
