I recently had to perform a clean install of XP. I installed Outlook BCM
2003 and downloaded all the updates and service packs. The help menu
indicated that I had SP3 for BCM. I had some issues with XP and Outlook and
stated over with a clean install due to registry error. Now after installing
all the updates and service packs for BCM, the help menu indicates that I
have BCM SP2. I downloaded and installed SP3 and received notification that
update was successfully applied.
What gives? Is there a coding error? Does Microsoft have a fix? I cannot
get any information from Microsoft except to pay for a chat or email. Office
2003 Professional was not cheap and I don't think I should have to pay again
to inquire about issues with their product.
