BCM Startup wizard disapears

I'm having difficulty with configuring BCM for one user on a machine.

We have outlook 2007 with BCM installed (on windows XP) but for one user i
cannot get the startup wizard to run.
I go to the help menu on outlook and click on configure BCM. The start up
wizard opens, I select advanced option click next and then the wizard just
disapears... and returns to outlook. (We have bcm database setup on our
server with 4 users - exchange 2003 with sql 2005)

This is happening for only one user on on this particular machine. I've
logged into the machine and managed to set myself up in outlook and install
bcm successfully... I've logged in as admin and given the used admin rights
to see if was a permissions issue but this seems to make no difference.

Your help would be appreciated.... Thank you!

Logged in as that user, try creating a new mail profile (you don't
need to configure email for this experiment) using Control Panel mail
applet. Then run Outlook with the new profile. If first use works,
then there's something wrong with that user's original profile.

Luther,

Success.... Thank you!!!

Yes set up a new profile with a test name and BCM startup ran fine. So I
deleted the old profile and set up a new profile with the original name and
this also was successful in initiating BCM.

Thanks for your help....
John
