I've been reading various emails about not being able to
customize any forms in BCM and am worried that I've
chosen the wrong solution for my real estate business
contacts. I was hoping to bring everything under one
roof so to speak (calendar, email, personal/business
contacts). It looks like the functionality and
capability to modify the forms in the basic
Outlook 'contacts' is much greater than in BCM right
now. Is this right or am I missing something? If I am
unable to change the business contact form (add pages,
new fields etcetera) it really takes away from the
useability of BCM.
Maybe the solution right now is to put everything in the
regular 'contacts' side and copy the basics over to BCM
in order to track opportunities/history and such. I
really didn't want duplicate records/processes though.
Any input w/b much appreciated.
