Hello all.
I'm trying to share a BCM (V2) database on an SBS 2003 server.
After I have:
Installed Outlook 2003 on the SBS 2003 server (taking into account the MAPI
factors)
Installed BCM (V2)
Created a new Outlook 2003 profile
Confirmed that BCM would be used with the profile
Created a database
...when attempting to share the database I receive the message "There are no
more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper"
I have searched the Web high & low for several days on this error, and as a
result have tried the following:
Run svrnetcn.exe to ensure "Named Pipes" & TCPIP are enabled for the
MICROSOFTSMLBIZ MSDE instance
Opened ports 1433 & 56183 on my external router (with the SBS firewall
disabled in the CEICW wizard)
As most of the Google posts point to firewall blocking as the problem, I've
also enabled the SBS firewall in the CEICW wizard with and without the
additional services (FTP etc), and including the custom ports as indicated
in the prior point, however all to no avail.
Like the other users, I would really like to use the SBS 2003 server as the
BCM database location, and I realise that there are a couple of other posts
relating to this question currently without answer, so thought I'd throw my
hat into the ring!
Any responses will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
