I have Office 2003 and today I installed BCM v2 (v1 was installed, but never
used and probably never even enabled). But when I open Outlook, I don't see
BCM anywhere but in the folder list. I can add contacts and accounts, but
cannot link them.
I went to the BCM installation folder and ran "EnableBCM.exe" but it tells
me BCM is
already enabled. I tried "Detect and repair" option, no change.Reinstalled
BCM, still no change.
There was no Business Tools or folder list for BCM
- No disabled items option
- I checked data file management and there is a BCM MSQL FILE LISTED. In
services.msc and MSSQL$MICROSOFTSMLBIZ is listed as running (starts
automatically), but I do not see it under SQL Enterprise Manager.
This is on a stand alone lap top (not running exchange).
Anything ideas?
